Nimbra 680 Media Backbone Switch
The Nimbra 680 is a carrier-grade 80 Gbps network switch offering unparalleled network utilization by combining service flexibility with a unique switching granularity. Customers capitalize on the cost-efficiency of Nimbra 680 in Contribution, IPTV, Cable and DTV applications supporting high QoS streaming media. The Nimbra 680 lets you feed anything from low bit rate ASI to 1080p uncompressed video – and everything in between – with 100% QoS and super high bandwidth utilization.
Nimbra 688 16 slot Media Network Backbone Switch
The Nimbra 688 is the big brother to our Nimbra 680 carrier-grade 80 Gbps network switch. It is identical to the Nimbra 680 except that it supports 16 slots for trunk and access interfaces. The Nimbra 688 is a perfect choice for larger IPTV and Cable Triple Play applications as well as any media network that requires 100% QoS and super high bandwidth utilization. The Nimbra 688 supports every type of streaming media, including 1080p uncompressed video, HD-SDI, SDI, ASI and Gigabit Ethernet.
Nimbra 340 & 340-HD Multiservice Access Switches
Nimbra 340 and Nimbra 340-HD are super-charged multiservice access and switching devices for demanding video and data applications. The compact 2RU solution and the wide selection of multiservice access interfaces makes the Nimbra 340 series ideally suited for use at the customer premises or in co-location POPs. The Nimbra 340 series combines the cost-effectiveness of fixed data and video ports with the flexibility of two general purpose slots for additional access and trunk interfaces
Nimbra 360 Flexible DTV and Mobile TV Distribution Switch
The Nimbra 360 was developed to support the particular needs of DVB and Mobile TV networks. It incorporates configurable trunk and Gigabit Ethernet ports. You can connect the system to virtually any trunk circuit and network. The chassis offers two slots for video and audio interfaces or additional trunk ports. Our unique Time Transfer function allows DTT and Mobile broadcasters using single frequency networks to synchronize transmitters and provide inter-studio sync without relying on GPS satellite signals or using any external devices.
Nimbra 120 CWDM Optical Networking System
The Nimbra 120’s lets you simplify your network designs, reduce subscription costs and eliminate points of failure. Its compact size, low cost and flexibility make it a perfect fit for IPTV and Cable networks. The Nimbra 120 also facilitates cost-effective network expansion; simply add more CWDM SFP/XFP trunk modules in one of your Nimbra One/300 or 600 family switches and connect them to the optical multiplexing ports in Nimbra 120.
Nimbra One High Capacity Network Switch
The Nimbra One provides the backbone for many of our network installations. It offers seven slots that support all of our Nimbra One/300 service and access interfaces and one slot for a Control Module. You can connect to virtually any telco network or any audio-visual service. The system gives you complete control over bandwidth allocation, guaranteed Quality of Service, extraordinarily high bandwidth utilization, and the flexibility to support any network topology, including point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, rings and mesh.
Nimbra Vision
Nimbra Vision lets you monitor and control all Nimbra units in your network with user-friendly, yet comprehensive, software. You can see everything that’s happening in your network, re-configure systems on the fly, monitor alarms, and manage signal recovery fallbacks.
Nimbra Vision utilizes a client/server architecture and controls Nimbra devices using SNMP. It automatically recognizes all Nimbra devices in your network, including all service and trunk modules.
